Long story short. It turns out that I may be allergic to dairy. Before you start, it's not the lactose.
Every few days, I realize another food that I can't eat anymore and die a little on the inside. Actually, I made a very loud noise when I thought of cheesesteaks.
I spend a lot of time reading ingredient lists now.
I've also pretty much given up eating anything I can't easily verify.
What does this mean for you, my ever patient reader?
It means I'm going to be collecting and modifying recipes to be dairy free. Sure you could find bigger, better repositories for that, but this is my notebook. (And if you're super nice, maybe I'll feed you.)
